Hydrated Lime or slaked lime is another quality product from Limestone Resources Limited. The product is used for pH control in mining metallurgy and other chemical industries. It is also used for soil stabilization road construction. Roads with a base stabilized with hydrated lime last longer and prove to be cheaper in the long run. Other uses for which hydrated lime is required include sugar refining, water purification, sewerage treatment, lime mortar, coal processing, bleach manufacturing sterilization, leather tanning and white washing among others.
Hydrated lime is packaged in 25kg bags and one tonne bulk bags on customer request. LRL has invested heavily in the hydration process which will result in increasing output to 15 tonnes per hour. The product is also produced to strict quality standards especially that it is used in food production.
